Updates

4/10/20 2:42 PM CST

A recent Executive Order issued by Governor Cuomo, together with recent amendments to the insurance and banking regulations issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services, extend grace periods and give clients who reside or own property in New York state other rights under certain property/casualty insurance policies if you are an individual or small business and can demonstrate financial hardship as a result of the novel coronavirus (“COVID‑19”) pandemic.  These grace periods and rights are currently in effect but are temporary, though they may be extended further. Read the full notice here.

As of 6/12/20, this moratorium has been lifted.

3/23/20 10:31 AM CST

At this time, our carriers have issued a moratorium on adding or increasing Loss of Rents coverage on any property policies. If you would like to request to add this coverage at a later date, we can do so upon request, after the moratorium has been lifted.
